Mission Beach Film Festival

Australia's #1 sustainability film festival, will be held on September 17 to September 19 at the Mission Beach Resort.

The film festival includes 18 films and documentaries, an array of guest speakers including Q and A panels and a variety of children's activities including a "Kids Cinema".

A celebration of Permaculture at work in our communities now.

Celebrating at the Festival of Permaculture begins with inspiring speakers - leaders and educators to guide us through our current changes and challenges.

Every walk of life will find out something new from attending a practical how-to workshop, talking with a visiting business or community group at the Trade Display or attending a presentation or workshop from five session streams.

Locals - you can register too

This is your chance to mix with Australia's most authoritative people on permaculture principles and practices.

With session streams that promise something for every member of the family, local music, Permi-Kids and Permi-Bubs Childcare, locally grown food and so much more, you'll come away inspired and skilled.

A Permaculture Festival on this scale is unlikely to return to the Far North for some time, so come along for the day, or stay overnight and take something valuable away with you for your farm, home, workplace or classroom.
